Riccall House Care Home is a family run care home near Selby and York registered for 19 elderly people who are accommodated in four companion rooms and eleven single rooms. All rooms have washing facilities and a staff call system. The house is Georgian in appearance, the rear extension, built on the site of an old barn, is more modern but still in keeping with the character of the house and village. Riccall House is owned by Gill and Tony Conroy who work within the home and live in the grounds at the rear of the house. Gill Conroy is a qualified general nurse with psychiatric experience and also holds the City & Guilds certificate for Advanced Management for Care. It is the policy of Riccall House to encourage all our carers to attend college courses and undertake assessment for NVQ's in care. The priority of Riccall House is to ensure the happiness and well being of residents and staff. We hope it provides you with the information you require.
